AMG Green Marketing and Green-Marketing-Services has formed a marketing consultancy with a team of professionals to support green builders, developers, architects, and homeowners in the areas of sponsorship, green consulting services (LEED® and Build It Green), home performance audits, home sales (EcoBroker®), website development, public relations, special events, and promotions.

How do we work? First we meet with clients to establish their needs for each project. We then contract to develop a sponsorship valuation, public relations, special event and promotional strategic plan. From there, both parties agree to a budget for each program and we begin the process to value the project’s assets and opportunities.

 

Fees are determined on a case by case basis. A monthly retainer is the norm. There is also normally a back-end commission incentive. Each project is different and we will work with each client to agree on the most equitable solution for meeting and exceeding project objectives.

Sponsorship: Our goal is to generate value through the integration of sponsorship partners to offset capital costs and expenses that will result in generating incremental dollars.

 

We research and evaluate the entire value opportunity in order to determine the most appropriate sponsorship marketing and corporate branding strategy. This will include areas such as: a detailed audit analysis of the project, audience composition, marketable assets, restrictions, potential conflicts, programming opportunities, events, demographics, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We possess solid relationships with dozens of national and regional prominent green building manufacturers and distributors. We can customize alliances and partnership programs for our clients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Green Consulting: Our team consists of LEED AP’s, HERS raters, Build It Green GreenPoint Raters, Certified Home Performance Auditors, General Contractors, Architects, and EcoBroker’s that can explain the ins and outs and the latest in green building, industry trends, home performance, solar energy consulting, energy efficient (EE) design and implementation, latest products, regulations, both for residential and commercial markets.

 

Team members are available for speaking engagements on green building, energy efficiency, home performance, and green remodeling, among other topics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Public Relations: Our clients and their corporate partners want and need as much exposure as possible for a given project. Each sponsorship program will consist of a rights and benefits package focusing on company, brand, product recognition, and return on investment.

We offer an integrated public relations program consisting of print, radio, television, internet, and event elements, to the trade and consumers that will deliver results. The weight dedicated for execution of these elements is dependent upon the client’s budget.

 

We possess an extensive database of media contacts in southern CA and other cities and can quickly secure key contacts and influencers for any area to support events for each project.


Media will be contacted and managed; all coordination and logistics for event support will be covered including photography, videography, collateral, signage, and invitations for sponsors, public officials, civic and business leaders, and invited guests.

 

Special Events: Depending on the timing of each project, we will develop and execute a groundbreaking ceremony, Grand Opening event, and Showcase Home Tour. We also can assist with the identification, contracting, and management of incorporating a non-profit organization into your project. We will coordinate and implement special sponsor trade nights, media events, and other special events.

 

Promotions: We can consult and implement any type of promotion to support client and sponsor branding, project awareness, product sampling, generating consumer traffic to project, prizes, raffles, contests and the securing of data capture.


Website Development/SEO/SEM/PPC: Our team has designed and produced websites for green builders that have supported the overall marketing campaign, promoted brand awareness, delivered company and sponsor recognition, and highlighted events and promotions regarding each project.  We can also assist with search engine marketing and optimization.

WHY BUILD GREEN?

 

What Is Green Building?

Green buildings are sited, designed, constructed, and operated to enhance the well-being of their occupants and support a healthy community and natural environment.

 

In practical terms, green building is a whole-systems-approach to building that includes:

· Designing for livable communities

· Using sun and site to the building's advantage for natural heating, cooling, and daylighting

· Landscaping with native, drought-resistant plants and water-efficient practices

· Building quality, durable structures

· Reducing and recycling construction and demolition waste

· Insulating well and ventilating appropriately

·        Incorporating durable, salvaged, recycled, and sustainably harvested materials

· Using healthy products and building practices

· Using energy-efficient and water-saving appliances, fixtures and technologies

 

When implemented holistically, these strategies serve to preserve our environment for future generations by conserving natural resources and protecting air and water quality. They provide benefits for us today by increasing comfort and well-being and helping to maintain healthy air quality. Finally,  green building strategies are good for everyone's pocketbook by reducing maintenance and replacement requirements, reducing utility bills and lowering the cost of home ownership, and increasing property and resale values.

Here are five principles and examples of Green Building

 

I. Livable Communities - Better neighborhoods and quality of life

· Broader site considerations (as applicable) such as infill or mixed use developments

· Keep size in check--conserve resources by increasing density on buildable land

· Design for diverse households; ADA-compliant

 

II. Energy Efficiency - Improved comfort and lower energy bills

· Passive solar heating, overhangs on south windows, deciduous trees on
west and south

· Upgraded insulation, SIPs, advanced air infiltration reduction practices
(air sealing),

· Low-E double-pane windows

· Compact fluorescent lighting, low energy-using major appliances

· High-efficiency furnace or zoned, hydronic radiant heat; Tankless
water heater

· Solar water heating, photovoltaic system (solar panels), wind turbines

 

III.  Indoor Air Quality - Safe, pleasant and healthy homes

· Low or no-VOC paint, wood finishes, & adhesives; avoid products with
added formaldehyde

· Mechanical ventilation system, heat recovery ventilation unit, sealed
combustion furnace and water heater

· Range hood and bath fans vent to outside, bath fans controlled with
a timer or humidistat

· No wood-burning fireplace, or retrofit wood-burning fireplace with EPA certified wood stoves/inserts

 

IV. Resource Conservation -Wise resource use for future generations

· Reuse/recycling of C&D (construction & demolition) waste

· High-volume recycled fly ash in concrete (min. 25%)

· Reclaimed lumber, flooring, millwork, and other reused or salvaged materials

· FSC-Certified wood, engineered lumber, Advanced Framing techniques

· Recycled-content decking, ceramic tiles, glass tiles or counters, carpet, etc.

· Rapidly renewable flooring: cork, linoleum, bamboo, natural fiber carpet

 

V. Water Conservation

· Ultra-low flush or dual-flush toilets, fixtures with below standard flow
rates (showers<2.5gpm, faucets<2.2gpm)

· Grey water system, rainwater harvesting system, low-water landscaping, native landscaping, high-efficiency irrigation system, smart irrigation control, no irrigation
